Sana Khan to act as Silk Smitha

The sexy Silk continues to haunt the viewers, even years after her unfortunate death.

In a role inspired from her life, actor Vidya Balan set the cash registers ringing, with Dirty Picture in Bollywood. Now Silk Smitha’s life gets a new version in Malayalam and the film has been titled Climax.

Sana Khan plays the role of a maid named Poonkodi, who become a junior artiste and then a busy star named Supriya, in Climax.

The film is being directed by Anil. Antony Eastman, who is believed to have given the crucial break in Silk Smitha’s career, is writing the story. Kaloor Dennis is writing the screenplay and dialogues.

The cast includes Subin Sunny, Suresh Krishna, Baburaj, Tini Tom and Sandhya. Climax is being made under the banner of Nice Movies.

    Kochi: Traffic director Rajesh Pillai has announced his next project in Malayalam, a film titled Gold. “It’s based on the lives of women athletes and their journey of struggles that often gets unnoticed,” says Rajesh Pillai.
